Amber Orton grew up in an Air Force family that moved often. She lived in seven states across the U.S. and in Baguio City, Philippines. Having relocated so many times, Amber knows what her clients are going through as they prepare to buy, sell, and move, and she knows what it feels like when you find a place to call home. 

After graduating from Colorado College with a B.A. in Economics, Amber moved to Massachusetts and chose Melrose due to its proximity to Boston. She and her husband quickly discovered what a tight-knit community they had found. That sense of community compelled her to begin building a career in residential sales. She already had a strong base in real estate from her employment as a financial analyst in the banking industry and from working alongside her mother, a 20-year real estate veteran.

Amber worked for RE/MAX for the first 15 years of her career, earning many top producer awards. In 2023, she joined Lyv Realty and continues to offer the same expert services, providing the best experience possible for buyers and sellers. She collaborates with lenders, attorneys, home inspectors, and other vendors to ensure that even the most complicated issues are handled with ease and care. That attention to detail continues beyond closing day. Clients appreciate the resources Amber has to assist with every conceivable task, from organizing closets and cleaning gutters to staging and remodeling. Her goal is to build ongoing relationships that keep clients returning for all their real estate needs. 

Exploring the world is a passion for Amber, her husband, and their three grown children. Their favorite activities are hiking & scuba diving. Two of their most memorable family vacations were a dude ranch in Colorado and a trip to Finland and Sweden, where they met long-lost relatives who found them on Facebook. They dream of future trips to the Galapagos, Greece, and Switzerland.
